There's almost too much to say about how wonderful this book is. Not only because of its epic length, but because of what the book represents. People talk about reading novels that change their lives, and this was one of those for me. It's about the power of friendship, love triumphing over chaos, and hope. Sure, it's also about an evil clown with lots of scary moments and gore, which also makes it impressively good, but the core of it, it's main theme of friendship, is what I found myself coming back to again and again. That all sounds very saccharin, I'm sure, but the book manages to get all this across without making you feel obligated to connect. You'll want to feel for these characters and how much they care for one another. This one comes highly recommended.
